I have always thought it poignant that there is a ‘U’ in the middle of trust. Trust starts with YOU for sure! We all have to trust ourselves; back ourselves; put our faith in our ability, our strength and our courage.
I recently saw a short poem which pointed out the ‘US’ in trust. Wow, I had never noticed that before! Interesting how we can become blinkered in the way we look; our interpretations; the way we see things. Fascinating how when looking through someone else’s eyes ‘U’ became ‘US’, but hold on, wasn’t it ‘US’ all along. Yes, it was, I just chose to focus elsewhere, that is until someone else pointed out their perspective, thoughts and observations.
Allow others in, allow others to expand your view of what is right in front of you; the world as you know it. Another’s view might be different but that doesn’t always mean conflict, your view can expand from ‘U’ to ‘US’ too!
