T-TALKS: Embracing Your Creativity

To me, Sir Ken Robinson, was the father of creativity and educational reform. His book ‘The Element’ had a significant impact on me and I hadn’t realised that he died about two months ago.

He preached that dance mattered as much as math and so as I approach this topic of creativity, I encourage you to explore your own everyday creativity. We often look at creativity as though it exclusively belongs to the artists, the craft-makers, the dancers…we were all born to create! Create a garden, a home, a family, a community, a project, a business, a career, a life.

What are you creating in your life? Are you approaching it in a playful and imaginative manner? A seemingly small shift can provide a new perspective on an old problem or simply reinvigorate what you do and that is big!

If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend “The Element’, life changing stuff.
